The Media has its story for another day. According to mutiple outlets the Mets shorstop will not play today against the Marlins.
The story is still unfolding. Adam Rubin Reports that its due to a non baseball related issue. Oh boy. Are the Mets started to spin the Media now? Got to love it!

That's interesting. Matthew Cerrone has footage of him fielding grounders and taking batting practice yesterday over on his blog. Seemed fine and chipper. I wonder what's going on.

missed ur update....lol.

he should be fine...most times thyroid issues can be treated with medicine
Yeah but...I'm reading about how these types of thyroid issues cause fatigue, weakness, excessive sweating, one doctor (not a doctor treating him) said something like he'll "only be inconvenienced for a few weeks or a month." Does "treatable" mean that he'll be physically fine and his performance on the field won't be effected at all? And knowing the Mets, how much of this is actually the truth?
Is Ruben Tejada the shortstop in 2011?
the truth is something the mets due have issues with at times. It is tough to tell what to expect from Jose but there are people that just take meds on a daily basis and there fine.
