if Jason Bay hit a home run at Citi Field would anybody see it?

33,000 plus at sundays game against the Nationals? Yeah thats a good one. How about the other night I think it was thursday where the crowd was annouced at 25,000 and there was maybe 15,000 . The Mets have other issues besides there 2-4 record.

If Jason Bay hits one will they come? Who knows but its opening week and I am pretty surprised at seeing that half of the promenade is empty.

Not to mention MR Rbi Machine Jason Bay which Gary Cohen on SNY tell us every other moment had 119 rbi's last year and this year after 6 games he has a goose egg.

So far Bay has opportunities but has not cashed them in yet. He is hitting .261 after 6 games at Citi with a double and a triple and a .391 slg percentage. He still has not gone deep.

The team itself has really not been too clutch with a average of about .200 with runners in scoring position. This again is something we are reminded about every 2 minutes.

Everyone was whining about the Mets pitching before the season started and if you look at the pitchng especially the bullpen which has been excellent . They have not given a run up yet in over 12 innings of relief.

The Mets offense besides Frenchie is still on vacation. Just like the fans.
