Mets did show some life out there but there were many chances for the Mets to either tie the game or take the lead earlier then the ninth inning last night.
It was like a broken record hearing Gary Cohen gives us the stat of the Mets are 0-100 with runners in scoring poistion during last nights game. Bay and Wright struck out what 5-6 times last night?
Also do the Mets remember anything about moving the runners up? How many times do I see runners on first or first and second and the guy up fly out with no runners able to advance? Can anyone remember to hit behind the runner or flair the ball to the right side?
Can you tell me why Cora pinch hit in the tenth and not Fernando Tatis?
Kudos to Igarashi with flashing that nasty splitter in the 9th inning. That is what the Mets paid for!
