As Takahashi gets bombed for 6 runs in 1 inning, Lee gets a win.

As the Mets lost last night 7-6 due the inability to get a 3rd out in 2 different innings Cliff Lee beat the Yankees last night in a complete game victory in the Bronx..

He did falter though. Rumor has it that he gave up a walk. The prices for Lee just went down! According to the boys over at ESPN.com it is the first time in 7 years that a pitcher had 4 complete games in a month. Ok price is back up again.

Back in 2008 the Brewers got C C Sabathia from the Indians and he pitcher 17 starts for the Brew crew. Including there 162nd game that year on short rest. The Brewers needed him for everyone of those starts to have the Brewers just beat the Mets in the wild card.

If the Mets trade for Lee, do we need to wait until its too late ? Will Santana, Dickey and Takahashi win us 3 games in the next round of the rotation? Are the GM’s just haggling over prospects? Will we lose Wilmer Flores? Stay tuned.
