Jenrry Mejia leaves start

Jenrry Mejia was taken out of his started for the Binghamton Mets because of a stiff shoulder.

Per the NY Post, "he lasted just an inning-plus against Akron. He threw 43 pitches (23 for strikes) before exiting after giving up a base hit and a walk to the two hitters he faced in the second inning."

The Mets said Mejia’s departure was “precautionary,” but it’s certainly disturbing that the prospect’s shoulder is hurting.

Mets now can say bye bye to and deal with acquiring Lee if Mejia is down for any length of time.
