Mets distressed ticket pack sale starts

3 years into the new building and the Mets are already giving away tickets so you can spend your cash at Citi Field. The Mets have announced a couple of ticket pack deals that give you the opportunitity not only see a couple of games, but also to help out the Wilpons in keeping the team.

To entice fans the Mets have 3 different packs available right now. As per Mets.com  you can buy 5,11 and 17 game packs as described below.

•Five-Game Packs consist of one game of your choice within the “Marquee” pricing designation, two “Classic” games, and two “Value” games. Fans will also receive a bonus “Value” game of their choice. Packs start at $99 per seat.

•11-Game Packs consist of one game of your choice within the “Marquee” pricing designation, four “Premium” games, three “Classic” games, and three “Value” games. Fans will also receive a bonus “Premium” game of their choice. Packs start at $243 per seat.

•17-Game Packs consist of one game of your choice within the “Marquee” pricing designation, six “Premium” games, five “Classic” games, and five “Value” games. Fans will also receive a bonus “Marquee” game of their choice. Packs start at $360 per seat

Each pack offers you the chance of getting a Yankee game or the home opener.  It also allows you to add 1 extra game for free . Also no annoying fees if you purchase online this month.  Why dont you guys go as far as giving us a break on parking fees as well while your at it?

The Mets are really trying to entice fans to come out to the park to see the Wilpons brand of midwestern baseball. Wilpons are looking for some money and there trying to get fans to chip in. Nothing like paying to see the Mets getting shut out for the series against the Phillies firepower of a starting rotation. Maybe 1 or 2 of them will get hurt if we Met fans have any luck.

Of course it doesnt give you the opportunity to have a little chat with the Wilpons about there finances.  That would be the clincher if you ask me.
