The Mets have a PR guy that you will see in the back of the crowd during tv interviews and he has been with the Mets for 32 years. That guy doesn't look like he belongs but he is a Met fan through and through. Since there is not much to report check out this fantastic article by Jeff Perlman over at the Wall Street Jorunal
Horwitz still lives in the same house he grew up in Clifton NJ. He was hired by former Met GM Frank Cashen. He has taken 2 days off since taking the job for his mother's passing.
He always has his phone to ear and is a very easy going down to earth guy who I had a pleasure of talking to late last year as we here at 24 hours work on getting into some of the pressers the Mets have at Citi Field.
