Mets made a bid in the 9th to make a comeback. Reyes tripled in a run to make the score 4-2 but Beltran popped up and Wright surprisingly struck out and the Mets lost a chance for 4 in a row.
They also lost Chis Young to the DL again. This time it might not be a quick road back. He strained his shoulder in the same area he did back in 2009 that limited him to 4 games last year. The Mets are hoping that he wont need surgery. They are having a doctor have a 2nd look at the MRI that he had before and decisions are made.
Young as usual when on the mound had been pretty effective with a ERA under 2 but if he cant pitch he cant help the team.
Mets brought up this years version of Health Bell with Pat Misch taking Young's spot. Gee though might be in Young's spot in the rotation.
Mets go out and visit the Rockies who have cooled off after there hot spot. Tulo might be excited to see the Mets since he has only 1 homerun since the 4 game sweep in April. Mets send Chris Capuano to the mound.
