Yes Reyes is healthy! The Reyes of old is back and he is finally making use of the gaps all around Citi Field . In the Mets win last night Mr Jose lashed 2 triples a double and a walk while scoring 2 runs in the Mets 6-3 win over the Dodgers.
Jose is hitting .350 over his last 10 games and has 45 hits so far this season which puts him 3rd in the league. He leads the league with 5 triples with 3 of them coming in the last 2 games.
If he playing for a contract or if he is playing hard just because he is healthy it is fun watching him fly around the Citi Field bases. Love to see Reyes sign a homer discounted deal with the Mets but of course that wont happen.
Jason Pridie gave the Mets the win last night on a 3 run shot after Ike Davis was intentionally walked so the Dodgers can face Pridie who made the Dodgers pay!
Beltran is also hitting the ball hard . He lashed a double last night which is his 12 of the year. He leads the league right now and has more doubles in half the games compared to last year when he has only 11 in 64 games.
