d'Arnaud Hurt, Mets Try To Salvage One In Colorado: Mets Lineup Vs. Rockies - April 18, 2013

Adam Rubin has reported that Mets top catching prospect Travis d'Arnaud broke his left foot in last night's game for the AAA Las Vegas 51's while pursuing a foul ball. It is not believed that the young catcher will need surgery because the fracture in non-displaced. When asked, Mets skipper Terry Collins said,

" It's part of the game. He's a catcher. Stuff happens."

The Mets will try and salvage the last game of this four game series, where the New Yorkers were snowed out twice.
