Mets Look To Build On Harvey's Gem: Mets Lineup Vs. Nationals - April 20, 2013

Last night Mets young stud pitcher Matt Harvey pitched another gem against the Nationals Stephen Strasburg.

Harvey was masterful in the much hyped contest, besting Strasburg and the Nationals 7-1. Harvey pitched 7 innings allowing one run, three walks, and striking out 7. Harvey lowered his microscopic ERA to 0.93.

Strasburg? He pitched six innings allowing two runs, walked 2, and struck out 6.

Today the Mets look to build upon last night's gem when they face the Nats at GHMP at 3:00.

Ruben Tejada, who injured his right ankle trying to field a botched toss from Murphy trying to turn a DP, will miss today's game and Justin Turner will replace him in the lineup and bat lead-off.

Hopefully Fearless Ike has busted out of his season-long slump hitting two HR's last night. Davis has struggled all season, and last night should go a long way towards getting back on track.

Today's Mets lineup:

1.  Turner - SS
2.  Murphy - 2B
3.  Wright - 3B
4.  Buck - C
5.  Davis - 1B
6.  Byrd - LF
7.  Duda - RF

8.  Cowgill - CF

9.  Hefner - RSP
